About

HOST

At the Copernicus Science Centre we believe that the world cannot change for the better without science, and that all such change – be it technological or social – begins with the individual. That means it starts with each and every one of us.

With our own individual sense of empowerment, our creativity, our boldness to ask questions and to think critically.
Visitors to Copernicus (including the adults!) rediscover how learning can be an amazing adventure – an experience accompanying us throughout our whole lives, and not just a privilege of childhood. To learn more about the Copernicus Science Centre, click here.

IPS

The International Planetarium Society is the global association of planetarium professionals. Its nearly 700 members come from 60 countries around the world. They represent schools, colleges and universities, museums, and public facilities of all sizes including both fixed and portable planetariums.

The primary goal of the Society is to encourage the sharing of ideas among its members through conferences, publications, and networking. By sharing their insights and creative work, IPS members become better planetarians.
